Two tourists killed and four others injured in knife attack at Egyptian resort
Two female Ukrainian tourists were killed and four others wounded in a knife attack at an Egyptian Red Sea resort.
Egypt’s Interior Ministry says six tourists of various nationalities were wounded when a knifeman attacked them in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada.

According to the Sun, the man wounded three Serbian victims and one Polish tourist were stabbed.
The ministry said the assailant, who was in his mid-twenties, was arrested immediately after the attack, which took place on Friday.
An initial investigation suggests that the man reached the Sunny Days El Palacio Hotel by swimming from a nearby public beach.
Sources said the motive for his attack was not known.
Just a few hours before the attack, five policemen were shot dead in Cairo’s twin city of Giza, when suspected Islamic militants opened fire on their vehicle.
Hurghada, a popular scuba diving spot, stretches for 40km of Egypt’s Red Sea coast.
The nationalities of the wounded tourists are not yet known.
